BIOGRAPHY

Bradley was born on June 2003, and ever since before he came into this world he was ready to race! He still likes all other sports but truely RACING is his pation. He started racing "Kid Kart Champs" in King George, VA at King George Speedway. Bradley is now 8 yrs old and attends a Christian School in Northern VIrginia and is going into the 4th grade next year. Since Bradley has started his racing career, he was won numerous awards and turned a lot of heads in the 4 cycle racing community. Kyle Busch is Bradley's idol. He has everything and anything related to M&M's racing gear, even down to his driving suit. It is a shear mirror of Kyle Busch's driving suit. His kart is wrapped identical to Kyle Bradley is well on his way to become one of the newest rising stars in auto racing.

This was a year of re-grouping and realxing as Bradley and the Wilson Motorsports team recovered from a devastating crash at the end of the 2010 racing season. Bradley has very few races this year and is focusing on a possible ride full time in the Bandolero Series as well as racing Champ Karts in the 2012 season. All of us here at Wilson Motorsports are excited for this up-coming venture!
Bradley had his hands full this with double duty in two seperate classes. He competed in the WKA Pavement National Series that spanned from NY, IN, SC, NC, and PA. He was a CO-National Chamipion in the Kid Kart Division in only his second year of driving preofessionally. While back in VA on his home turf at king George Speedway, he was competing in the Jr. Sportsman 1 Champ class, and still beating up the comptetition. He won the track championship again for the second year in a row in "Kid Kart Champ" and was 3rd place champion in Jr. Sportsman 1 Champ class. All-in-all another astonishing year for Bradley and the Wilson Motorsports team.
This was Bradley's first year in competition.In this he year he dominated the weekly competition and took the track championship. He won 21 races out of the 33 he competed. Astonishing year for young Bradley and the Wilson Motorsports Team.

November 5th, 2011 (Saturday)Bradley was FAST during the 2 practice sessions and for the HEAT race. He qualified P2 (first row on the outside) for the FEATURE race. As the GREEN flag waved, Bradley jumped ahead of all the competitors. After the 3rd lap was complete (out of 20 lap race), it appeared as if someone had snuck up behind him and attached a parachute to the back of his go kart. It was going so slow!!! I gave Bradley our visual signal to go ahead and come off the track, but in his determination, Bradley did not quit - he kept on driving. We had experienced this issue in the past, but it had always been in the practice sessions. Ding Dang it, just as we had thought CARBURETOR issues had plagued us once again. This time, we could not correct the issue prior to the FEATURE race. After the race, I was talking with Bradley and in his disappointment, he let me know that he had gotten lapped about 5 times. Better luck next time.October 22nd, 2011 (Saturday)Wow!!!! What can I say. We finally found the right gear ratio to get our engine's RPM up to where our engine builder (Mad Dog Engines) wants the engine to turn. Bradley was "Fast Like a NASCAR" as he made his way up through the field. On lap 18 of 20, Bradley was finally able to get up on the rear bumper of the lead Kart. These two Karts drafted with each other and pulled away from the rest of the field, and as they came out of turn 4, the white flag was out. Bradley patiently waited for the right time to make his move. As Bradley was coming out of turn 3 into turn 4, Bradley attempted to make his move by cutting down to the inside of the lead Kart. When Bradley attempted this pass, his Kart became loose and the rear end spun around. The caution flag did not come out and Bradley ended up finishing last. Althought his race results did not reflect his driving skills and abilities, that was truly one of the BEST runs that I have seen Bradley perform!!!! You GO, BOY!!!! Daddy is soooo PROUD of you!!! Keep up the great racing.October 17th, 2011 (Monday)For the last several weeks, Wilson Motorsports has been entertaining the idea of their driver (Bradley Wilson) racing a Bandolero car for the 2012 race season. During these several weeks, I made telephone contact with Jimmy Baker of U.S. Legend Cars International many times to discussed the possibility of Wilson Motorsports purchasing the Bandolero car that wins the Inaugural Better Half Dash race. Earlier this morning, I received a telephone call from Jimmy Baker to let me know that the Bandolero car that was to victory by Jacquelyn Butler was indeed available for purchase. So we took care of as much of the paper work as we could over the telephone. The final details will take place within the next month or so.It is official!!!! Bradley Wilson will be racing "the" Bandolero car that Jacquelyn Butler (NASCAR driver David Ragan's girlfriend) drove to victory in the Better Half Dash race this past Saturday, October 15th, 2011 at the Charlotte Motor October 16th, 2011 (Sunday)In the shadows of the passing of Dan Wheldon today at the Las Vegas Speedway, nothing could have been a more greater concern then feeling we had when we heard the news. Dan Wheldon was a tremendous driver, father, and human being to the racing world and to his family. We here at Wilson Motorsports send our deepest thoughts and prayers to the friends and families of Dan Wheldon. Dan...We here at Wilson Motorsports look forward to seeing you one day at the Lords Race track paved with gold! Gods Speed and you will be forever missed as well as loved in the racing community!!!October 15th, 2011 (Saturday)A charity race, supporting Motor Racing Outreach (MRO) and Speedway Children’s Charities (SCC), will pit the women against each other in Bandolero cars provided by U.S. Legend Cars International on the speedway’s frontstretch quarter-mile oval. The ladies will put on the firesuits for an all-out, girls-have-at-it battle when the inaugural Better Half Dash gets underway at Charlotte Motor Speedway as part of the Bank of America 500 pre-race activities on Oct. 15. Congratulations to Jacquelyn Butler (girlfriend of NASCAR driver David Ragan) for winning the Inaugural Better Half Dash. After watching the Better Half Dash, we walked around the Charlotte Motor Speedway complex to look at the different exhibits and for Bradley to enjoy himself in the Kids Zone until the Bank of America 500 race was about to begin. Kyle Busch looked real good until that last caution that came out. Unlike the Kyle Busch that we all know, Kyle had an aweful restart and was unable to hold off Matt Kenseth. Congratulations to Matt Kenseth for winning the Bank of America 500. Again, Kyle Busch finishied in 2nd place.October 14th, 2011 (Friday)Bradley and I flew down to Charlotte, North Carolina to take part of the festivities at Joe Gibbs Racing. We had the opportunity to meet up with Kyle Busch, Denny Hamlin, Joey Logano, Brian Scott, Michael McDowell, Drew Herring, Ryan Truex, and Darrell Wallace, Jr. M&M's, Interstate Batteries, Home Depot, FedEx, and Food Lion had exhibits there; most with some fun activities for kids. Bradley was lucky enough to win 2 tickets to the Dollar General 300, so off we were to the track. Congratulations to Carl Edwards for winning the Dollar General 300. Kyle Busch finished in 2nd place. Later that night, Bradley's mom flew down to Charlotte, North Carolina to join up with us for the activities scheduled for Saturday, October 15th, 2011.October 8th, 2011 (Saturday)Today is the first day of racing in over a month and the class that Bradley races in is the MONEY event!!!! Capital City Speedway was closed the entire month of September; Labor Day, NASCAR event, VKDA State race, and a National race. Bradley's kart is dialed in and ready to be driven into Victory Lane later this evening, just hope that we do not experience any mechanical issues from getting us there. Depending on cellular coverage out at the track, I will try to make status updates on Facebook and Twitter. Boogity, Boogity, Boogity, BOYS.....let's go racing!!!It was a great night for Wilson Motorsports!!! Bradley finished in 3rd place. He had a very good run, but I (his crew chief) just can not seem to find the right gear ratio.
